Gaia is a major god of the Atlantean Civilization. She is the Godess of Earth and is even known as 'Mother Goddess'. She is the mother of Kronos, Oranos (or Auranos), and the other Titans. She gave birth to Oranos without any male intervention and then mated with Oranos to produce the Titans.
Players who choose Gaia as their Major God/Goddess have an advantage of growing trees wherever they want. This ability is granted in the form of a god power. Even the buildings act as the source of green lush, which prevents other players from making their buildings on it. It also gives the buildings some small healing ability.
Gaia might seem weak in the beginning, but she can create a strong economy and defense. She lets your villiagers move faster and fishing boats and caravans are stronger and cheaper. Her two classical age gods are Leto and Okeanus. Leto makes automaton, which men of metal that can build and repair themselves. Her god power is Spider Lair, a spider web that goes on the ground and attack when enemy's walk over it. Okeanus (or Oceanus) makes Caladria, a flying myth unit that can heal units and Servants, water myth units that can heal units. His god power is Carnivora, a man eating plant for land or water. In the next age her gods are Rheia and Theia. Rhea's units is a behemoth, siege myth unit that regenerates. Her god power is traitor which can make an enemy's unit your unit. Theia makes a Stymphalian Bird that attacks units from the air. And she basically makes dryads with her Hesperides which is her god power that blocks out other god powers. In the next age her gods and goddesses are probably the strongest of the minor gods, Hekate, who makes lampades, ranged attackers with chaos and her god power is tartarian gate which spawns demons that attack everyone in sight conituosly until destroyed. The other god is Atlas, who makes things implode (god power) and makes [[Arguses], instant kill blobs.
Gaia can be quiet deadly near the end, because the ending units are powerful and expensive, but with her economy, she will be unstoppable.
